MODULE, 20 M LENGTH AND 3 M DEEP‘JELLYFISH BARRIER
This is a floating barrier with an anti-jellyfish and anti-algae function, made of mesh and fabric and patented by Retificio Ribola. The emerged part is made of a very high-resistance micro-mesh fabric that envelops cylindrical floats with a diameter of about 20 cm.
The floating part is designed to prevent the passage of jellyfish even in the case of wind and waves.
Openings are made on the floating part for inspecting the floats and moving them. The barrier is normally supplied with inflatable floats.
The submerged part is made of a mesh net, woven in high-tenacity fiber, treated with UV rays, which acts as a barrier against jellyfish but allows the passage of the current, reducing the drag of the entire barrier.
The anchoring takes place via an extra band in high-tenacity mesh sewn firmly along the entire length and suitable for acting as a hooking point for the anchors.
Bands for mooring on the beach or at sea.
The connection of one module to another is made by means of high tenacity zippers for marine use or band with eyelets
All seams are made with very high tenacity thread for marine use resistant to sea water.
